Same city, different façade ~ Renovated Amritsar

On my last visit to Amritsar, I found that there have been huge amount of changes around the Golden Temple – renovating the entire lane till the entrance of the temple to make it more tourist friendly. While we there for a family function, so we were staying on back side of the temple where the old city charm still persists. I found an old abandoned house with a huge entrance but in ruins. And the image below is of an entrance  from the recently restored lane.
